Social sciences and humanities session
Day 2, 9/11/17 1:45 pm - 9/11/17 2:45 pm
The session will explore ethics assessment in social sciences and humanities (SSH). The methodologies and objects of SSH research imply ethical risks that differ to a significant extent from those in medical and life sciences and therefore require a field-specific approach to ethics assessment. What are the specifics of ethical issues in SSH research and what are the good practices of ethics assessment and guidance in these fields, considering the increasing level of their institutionalisation today? The session will be introduced by a presentation of SATORI findings on ethics in SSH.
