We need your support to continue dialogue on ethics assessment in R&I

From 2014-17, the SATORI project has facilitated multi-stakeholder dialogue and cooperation, which has produced:

  • extensive mapping of ethics assessment procedures and practices in multiple fields and sectors
  • a proposal for a common European ethics assessment framework
  • an early-stage standard for organizing ethics assessment units and for assessing ethical impacts of research and innovation
  • recommendations for improvement of the H2020 ethics appraisal system
  • a roadmap towards a fully implemented common European approach to ethics assessment.

 

It is our distinct impression that there is great interest in and willingness to engage actively in dialogical development of common European approaches to ethics assessment of research and innovation.

On the basis of this experience, the SATORI consortium is currently leading a call for a follow-up project to continue mobilization and mutual learning.

We invite you to express your support for this follow-up project.

Instructions for using the letter of support template

To fill in the ‘Letter of Support’ template, please either use Adobe Acrobat in any version (Reader, Full, or Pro) or fill out the template manually.

To fill in the template using Acrobat Reader, follow these steps:
  1. Download the ‘Letter of Support’ template to your computer
  2. Open the document in Acrobat Reader
  3. Go to Tools/Fill in and sign
  4. Sign the document by opening a signature file or signing with your mouse
  5. Fill in the relevant checkboxes and text fields
  6. Save the document to your computer
  7. Send your letter of support to letter-of-support@satori.eu

  2. Open the document in Acrobat Reader (or another pdf-viewer)
  3. Print the document
