Panel on engineering and information sciences

The panel will discuss ethical issues related to engineering and information sciences, for example, the value of research, ethical challenges and the scientists’ responsibility. In particular, the panel will focus on questions of how to protect privacy and “privacy by design”, security and the precautionary principle, and the involvement in military research. The panel will also discuss the value and usefulness of the SATORI ethical formwork.
