SATORI meets the (Danish) public

On June 12, 2015, SATORI will be presented at the Danish “People’s political meeting” on the island of Bornholm (a larger Danish island just South of Sweden). In a one-hour session we will put the question of morality in research up for discussion. We will be joined by the chairman of the Danish Board of Ethics, Jacob Birkler, who will present an example of an ethical issue related to research in personal data. Together we will train the public in ethical argumentation, and lead them in a debate. Finally, we will challenge the participants to come up with a solution for the problem they identified. Perhaps the people of Bornholm will deliver an important input for the SATORI framework?
